Olive Skincare – Product Review

You read right, Olive skincare products! Yes, they contain olive oil which is all the rave right now in not only food but skincare as well. I purchased a set of 4 products: cleansing milk, toner, day cream and night cream which I’ll be reviewing today. Olive is a New Zealand based natural skincare company and their products contain Olive leaf extract which is an amazing antioxidant and the cool part about this company is that they’re a family owned business with an Olive Estate! Olive oils for life!

Rich Cleansing Milk – I’ve only recently started using cleansing milks. Prior to this one, I had a sample of the Juice beauty one which I liked but at the time didn’t really know what the whole purpose of these milks were until I read more about them and found out how amazing they are!
Basically, you can use these as makeup removers – how awesome is that! They’re lightweight and a bit runny and they remove and cleanse at the same time removing all that dirt and grime. I use my makeup towel to remove make up first and then use this milk after to ensure that there is absolutely noooo residue left. And trust me it works – nothing at all after this deep cleansing.
I put a bit into the palms of my hands, rub my hands together and then apply it to my face in circular motions and wash off with warm water. I really like this milk as it’s soft and gentle on the skin and has a light scent.

Hydrating Facial Toner – This truly is a hydrating toner. I love the soft mist and it absorbs into the skin quickly and easily leaving the skin feeling fresh.

Nourishing Day Cream – Lightweight cream that is soft and lightly scented. I use literally a pea sized amount for my whole face as a little goes a long way.

Moisturising Night Cream – This is also a lightweight cream with a mild scent. Again a little goes a long way. I’ve used quite a few different night creams in the past and I like how this one isn’t as heavy as some of the other one’s I’ve used. I sometimes can even use a facial oil underneath and then this one on top without my skin feeling oily and heavy.

There you have it! Overall, I was pretty happy with these products. I used these when I had a mild rash on my cheeks and these products were my rescue to get my skin back on track – they sure worked!
