Can you imagine life without coffee? I sure can’t! It’s the next best thing to Chai.
I never used to be a big coffee fanatic. If anything, I got through university without it. Reflecting back I remember being so sleepy some days in class…
And now, coffee is one of those things I need whilst at work or even while just strolling through the mall. But, sometimes I can’t always get to Starbucks or Tim Hortons, so I make my own coffee at home (its equally delicious and cheaper). The recipe below is my favourite and if you want a colder alternative just use cold milk and put all the ingredients in a blender until frothy. It’s that easy!
1 cup milk (I used 2%)
1 1/2 teaspoon Nestle Espresso Instant Coffee
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon crushed cardamon
pinch of cinnamon
1. Put milk in a pot and bring to boil.
2. When the milk becomes frothy add the coffee, brown sugar, cardamon and cinnamon.
3. Whisk all ingredients so no clumps form.
4. Pour into your favourite cup and enjoy!
